MEDIATOR

1. Core Meaning

A mediator is one who stands between two parties to reconcile them.

In Scripture, Jesus Christ is the sole Mediator between God and humanity—bridging the infinite gap caused by sin and restoring fellowship through His atoning work.

It includes:

• Representing humanity before God

• Representing God to humanity

• Reconciling sinners to God through His sacrifice

• Interceding continually for believers

• Establishing peace through His blood

Christ is not one mediator among many—He is the only One who can bring humanity back to God.
