IMMANENCE

1. Core Meaning


The immanence of God refers to His nearness, presence, and active involvement within creation. 


Though God is transcendent—exalted above all—He is also intimately present, sustaining, guiding, and dwelling with His people.



It includes:


• God’s nearness to creation 


• His active involvement in human history 


• His sustaining presence in all things 


• His relational closeness to His people 


• His Spirit dwelling within believers


Immanence means God is not distant or detached—He is present, personal, and near.

Acts 17:27–28
